What being a teacher means to us
Being a teacher is more than simply talking a student through content. Teachers have the opportunity to shape student’s lives - awaken passions, build self - belief, and unlock a way of thinking which will benefit them throughout their life.
We aim to open students eyes to what science really is, and rekindle a child-like curiosity for how the world works. We are passionate about giving students a strong, deep understanding of topics, teaching how and why things happen, and encouraging students to visualise every problem.
During exam periods, many students feel overwhelmed, and are experiencing stress for the first time. As tutors, we can be a genuine, positive and supportive influence during this time, helping students stay motivated, and keeping them aligned with a plan of action to guarantee success.

Maths and the Sciences are deeply interconnected — each offering a lens through which we understand the world. Mathematics provides the language and structure that underpins the laws of Physics. Chemistry builds on these laws to explain the interactions between atoms and molecules, while Biology reveals how these principles manifest in living systems.
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that all Sciences are ultimately a way of making sense of the world. We aim to inspire curiosity, encourage deep thinking, and help students see the bigger picture that connects their learning across disciplines.

I achieved 4A*'s at A-levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Further Maths. I then went on to complete a bachelors in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, where I studied Maths, Materials Science and Chemistry alongside Physics (my specialty). This gives me a broad knowledge, and a unique ability to link between the sciences. I finished my studies with a Masters in Physics from the University of Cambridge. Since then I have found my passion in tutoring, working full time with over 1400 hours of experience.
